Description:
This symposium will update practicing interventional cardiologists, cardiology residents & fellows, general cardiologists, internists, cardiovascular surgeons, nurses and technologists in the latest developments in the field of Coronary Physiology and Invasive imaging. This annual event remains unique in the Canadian medical community, as it is the singular dedicated scientific meeting focusing specifically on intravascular ultrasound and coronary physiology invasive modalities (FFR-iFR) and their teaching, research, and clinical applications, both diagnostically and during PCI.

Objectives:
At the end of this program, by didactic and case presentations, participants will be able to better understand:

• The clinical applications of invasive pressure-derived indices in various conditions;
• The theory and clinical application of coronary angio-based functional coronary assessment;
• Endothelial-dependent and -independent epicardial and microvascular testing;
• OCT and IVUS, including their clinical applications and limitations.
