34th Canadian Conference on HIV/AIDS Research (CAHR 2025) is organized by Canadian Association for HIV Research (CAHR), Sea to Sky Meeting and Association Management Inc. and will be held from May 01 - 04, 2025 at Halifax Convention Centre (HCC), Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Conference Theme:
Sustaining HIV Research Progress through Collective Action from Coast to Coast
On the whole, the incidence of HIV in Canada is decreasing and the goal of reaching the UNAIDS 95-95-95 targets is well within reach. However, upon closer examination, there are unique challenges facing smaller, less well-resourced areas across the country. At CAHR 2025 in Halifax, we will continue to explore not only the insights into the biomedical complexities of the virus and the development of advanced clinical approaches to treat HIV, but also the interaction between biological and social variables such as mental health, houselessness, gender, food insecurity and addiction. That is why once again those working in all disciplines of HIV/AIDS research, as well as policy makers, persons living with HIV and other individuals committed to ending the pandemic, will come together to advance our goal of “Sustaining HIV Research Progress through Collective Action from Coast to Coast”.

Conference Description:
CAHR extends its appreciation to Drs. Jacquie Gahagan and Lisa Barrett for co-chairing the 34th Canadian Conference on HIV/AIDS Research (CAHR 2025). Along with their prestigious Scientific Committee, Drs. Gahagan and Barrett will ensure that CAHR 2025 is a tremendous opportunity for researchers and community members to share the latest scientific advances in the field, learn from one another’s expertise, and develop new ways to treat and prevent HIV.
