Personal protective equipment (PPE) was designed with one primary role: prevention of transmission of pathogens. All of us use PPE in some way, shape or form within our practices.
This Performance Improvement CME (PI-CME) activity has been designed by PA's to educate health care personnel and first responders on the value of appropriate effective use of PPE as recommended. This activity has been approved for a maximum of 20.00 AAPA Category 1 PI-CME credits.
PPE in the Health Care Setting provides you with:
A pre-assessment questionnaire that will demonstrate your current workplace compliance toward PPE.
Educational resources that will guide you to correct any demonstrated areas of weakness.
A post-assessment questionnaire to evaluate your success in improving PPE practices.
This CME is designed to take 3-4 months, based on provider-specific working environments. Since PPE is such an important component of any patient care environment, this module may be used over and over again to constantly improve compliance and save lives.
To obtain PPE in the Health Care Setting, click the registration button below. Once your payment has been processed, you will receive access to the informational packet in CAPA's Education Hub.
