British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK) Revision Knee Instructional Course 2025 is organized by Clockwork Medical, British Association for Surgery of the Knee (BASK) and will be held from Oct 13 - 14, 2025 at East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham, England, United Kingdom.

Description:
The Convenors for the 2025 BASK Revision Knee Instructional Course have put together a programme designed to fulfil all of the CPD requirements for surgeons performing revision knee surgery. This course will be aimed at all surgeons performing revision knee surgery, and will cover a number of core topics, as well as deep dives into specific topics relevant to revision knee.

This year’s deep dives will be on Extensor Mechanism Management and Knee Instability.

We will maintain the successful format of small group sessions where topics. This year’s topics will be on DAIR, soft tissue defects, tips and tricks on implant extraction and complication management. There will also be small group case discussions on a variety of cases involving revision knee. 

There will be a parallel AHP/Network session to give network coordinators, nurse specialists and the wider multidisciplinary teams opportunity to share good practice.

Following the success of 2024 we will be repeating specific sessions for Early Years Revision Consultants and Fellows/Senior Trainees to discuss the challenges and opportunities being faced.

This is an interactive meeting and attendance from all the multidisciplinary team is crucial. We welcome consultant surgeons with an interest in knee revision surgery as well as senior orthopaedic trainees and fellows, physios, nurse specialist network coordinators and anyone involved in managing patients. 

Our guest lecture this year will be Gile Van Hellmondt from Nijmegen, who leads a large arthroplasty and revision team in the Netherlands

The meeting will be starting at 12:30pm on Monday 13th October with registration and a welcome lunch, with a course dinner at the venue on the Monday evening.
