OVERVIEW

British Columbia (BC) Rural Health Conference (RHC) 2025 is organized by University of British Columbia Continuing Professional Development (UBC CPD), Rural Coordination Centre of BC (RCCbc) and will be held from Jun 06 - 08, 2025 at Prince George Conference and Civic Centre, Prince George, British Columbia, Canada.

Description:
This annual gathering goes beyond professional development—it's about building connections and celebrating the spirit of rural healthcare. For 2025 we invite you to join us in the heart of northern BC—with access to world-class outdoor recreation—for this one-of-a-kind event. Connect with colleagues and leave BC Rural Health Conference (RHC) feeling enriched, empowered, and energized.

The BC Rural Health Conference is heading back to Northern BC on the ancestral, unceded territory of the Lheidli T'enneh First Nation in Prince George. Hosted by the Rural Coordination Centre of BC (RCCbc) with support from the Joint Standing Committee on Rural Issues (JSC), this conference offers rural health professionals a space to learn, connect and collaborate. With a focus on the unique opportunities and challenges of rural practice, it combines high-quality education with a strong sense of community—making it a must-attend event for rural practitioners.

Conference Highlights:

  • All new format! We listened to your feedback and revamped the schedule to include a dedicated day for hands-on workshops plus an expanded lineup of rapid-fire lectures—offering more ways to stay current on the latest in rural and family medicine.
  • Presentation of the BC Rural Health Awards
  • Wellness opportunities, stretching sessions, a guided forest walk, Metis-led art session, mountain biking and more!
  • Opportunities to socialize and network with colleagues from across the province and beyond.
