Description:
The American Heart Association BLS renewal course is designed for Healthcare Professionals who are renewing their BLS certification prior to the expiration of their certification. It encompasses the 2020 AHA guidelines for high quality CPR on an adult, child, and infant and the use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) on an adult, as well as discussion of AED usage on a child and infant. This course also includes rescue breathing and use of the bag mask device on adults and infants. This course also briefly discusses opioid overdose and maternity patients.
