Conference Description:
The AMMI Canada – CACMID Annual Conference offers an interactive platform for leading experts in diagnostic microbiology, antimicrobial stewardship, infectious diseases, infection prevention and control, and public health to convene. Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the conjoint meeting between AMMI Canada and CACMID, this conference draws participants from across Canada and internationally. Continuing the tradition, the 2025 conference will deliver updates on a broad range of topics to a diverse group of professionals, including clinicians, microbiologists, laboratory technologists, public health experts, infection prevention and control practitioners, epidemiologists, pharmacists, students and residents.

In addition to the pre-conference Trainees’ Day, the program will feature plenary sessions, cutting-edge clinical lectures, accredited co-developed learning activities, short oral presentations, rapid-fire presentations, poster presentations, a case report symposium, and an exhibit hall. New this year are “Lightning Learning” sessions—concise, focused learning opportunities on specific topics. Additionally, the conference will introduce wellness and networking activities, including morning yoga, and fun networking activities within the exhibit hall.
