OVERVIEW

American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) 79th Annual Meeting is organized by American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) and will be held from Oct 15 - 18, 2025 at New Orleans Marriott, New Orleans, Louisiana, United States of America.

Description:
As we gather for “Celebrating Resilience”, in vibrant New Orleans, LA. We will be inspired by the jubilant music and rich culture of our host city, which has weathered many literal and figurative storms throughout its history. The fleur des lis that can be seen all around town – from iron fences to football helmets – is a symbol of perseverance adopted by the region.

This theme was selected because we witness incredible resilience in our community of caregivers and people with childhood-onset disabilities who are navigating unexpected barriers. It’s also reflective of our members who find buoyancy and joy in the professional and personal challenges they encounter, determined to pursue the vision of the AACPDM in advancement of health and well-being of all individuals with cerebral palsy and other childhood-onset disabilities. Together, we will gather and focus on an essential “F-word” – FUN – while learning from colleagues of different professions, cultures, and lived experiences.
