So much has changed since the inception of IHCA in 1950—in the association, the profession, and the world overall. As long term care has evolved from the nursing homes of yesteryear to the assisted/supportive living, skilled nursing, and ID/DD centers of today, so have the needs of these facilities, their residents, and staff. And, so has our association.

IHCA is committed to evolving along with our profession and our members. Over the past year, we have embraced significant changes within our organization, strengthening our ability to lead in advocacy and education for long term care professionals. Our dedication to our mission remains unwavering as we continue to drive progress and support those we serve.
