66th Annual Postgraduate Symposium in Ophthalmology is organized by The Ohio State University Center for Continuing Medical Education (OSUCCME) and will be held from Mar 07 - 08, 2025 at Sonesta Columbus Downtown, Columbus, Ohio, United States of America.

Description:
Will maintain a broadly focused list of topics to allow physicians to update their knowledge in several areas. We will have experts in all subspecialties, including glaucoma, cornea, neuro-ophthalmology, retina, uveitis, and oculoplastics that will speak on how to correctly diagnose and treat more complicated conditions. Topics may include developments in corneal transplantation, the early treatment and diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration, new antiglaucoma medications and procedures to prevent blindness, and advancements in oculoplastic surgery. We will also cover the role of optic nerve imaging in the management of neuro-ophthalmic emergencies as well as covering the latest developments in the management of inflammatory eye conditions. Having a panel of guest speakers in all subspecialties will allow the audience to ask questions and find resources most applicable to their aging patient population.

• Identify & discuss glaucoma eye drop management indications and complications.
• Discuss Periocular Reconstruction and common lid lesions.
• Discuss how molecular diagnosis plays a role in the workup and management of inflammatory eye conditions.
• Discuss the latest recommendations for management and treatment of diabetic eye conditions.
• Describe the work up and management of patients with age-related macular degeneration.
• Discuss the use of OCT in the diagnosis and treatment of optic nerve disorders.
