Thematically, we will of course focus on innovations, but we will not turn our attention away from daily practice. In this sense, one of the main topics will be artificial intelligence, which is already finding its way into pediatric pulmonology, especially in diagnostic areas. Another thematic complex revolves around controversies and open questions about diseases and therapies for which no or no clear guidelines exist. How is the procedure actually carried out in these cases, and how can patient-centered treatment paths be developed? And - all good things come in threes - the consequences of the rapid developments on the planet have a significant impact on lung health and require new therapy strategies.

Our aim - the combination of clinical practice and scientific research - is to share the latest findings and advances in diagnostics, treatment and care and to jointly develop them further. Our annual conference is an important step on this path.
