ISSTD has been welcoming professionals working with complex trauma and dissociation for four decades. The ISSTD Annual Conference offers a time and place to connect with fellow clinicians and researchers in the field from around the world in addition to cutting edge research and educational content. In 2025, the conference aims to highlight the trajectory of research and treatment of complex trauma and dissociation through many decades. Once largely hidden and misunderstood, complex trauma disorders and dissociation have been brought into ever clearer focus through current research and broader cultural acceptance. The International Society for the Study of Trauma and Dissociation (ISSTD), is approved as an ACE provider to offer social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) Approved Continuing Education (ACE) program. Regulatory boards are the final authority on courses accepted for continuing education credit. Social workers completing this course receive 30.00 continuing education credits.
