24th Annual Pain Medicine Meeting is organized by the American Society of Regional Anesthesia and Pain Medicine (ASRA) and will be held from Nov 13 - 15, 2025 at JW Marriott Austin, Austin, Texas, United States of America.
Description:
The theme of the full spectrum of pain care reflects our two-fold commitment to recognizing the multi-disciplinary nature of pain medicine practice as well as breadth of pain conditions treated. To accomplish this, we have designed special tracks that cater to the interests of pain medicine educators and trainees, advanced practice providers, military personnel, and those who manage their practices.
Sessions will feature evidence-based yet practical takeaways for incorporating or fine-tuning artificial intelligence (AI), regenerative medicine, neuromodulation, cancer-related pain management, and minimally invasive spine therapies in your practice. A preview of some of our exciting presentations include:
- Navigating smoking cessation, euglycemic control, and high body mass index in patients receiving neuromodulation: evidence and practicalities
- Leveraging collected data and AI to improve clinic workflows, patient care, and beyond
- Ambulatory surgical centers - nuts and bolts, to buy-in or not, investing yourself and your money
- Indications, considerations, and risks of chemical neurolysis for cancer pain
In addition to our plenary sessions, join us for interactive discussions with our 8 “Ask the Experts” panels, or cozy up with your favorite faculty at any of our 20 “Problem-Based Learning Discussion” luncheons. For hands-on experience, sign up for several of our 24 “workshops” featuring basivertebral nerve ablation, crisis management in pain medicine, and minimally invasive spine procedures.
Educational Objectives:
After participating in this educational activity, participants should be able to:
- Demonstrate fundamental and advanced techniques in interventional pain medicine using fluoroscopic and ultrasound guidance, including neuraxial procedures, peripheral injections, nerve blocks, minimally invasive lumbar decompression, radiofrequency ablation, spinal cord stimulation, and peripheral nerve stimulation.
- Explore the potential for enhancing outcomes for patients with pain through a multidisciplinary approach.
- Review pathophysiology and treatments for opioid use disorder and evidence for commonly prescribed analgesics.
- Describe the benefits and challenges associated with the implementation of artificial intelligence in pain medicine.
- Analyze strategies for overcoming practice obstacles including payment structure, risk management, and diversifying practice patterns.
- Discuss approaches to managing acute or chronic pain in trauma and perioperative settings.
- Summarize advances in research methodologies to assess outcomes of treatments for pain.

PAs (Physicians Assistants)

Nurse Practitioners

This activity contributes to the patient safety CME requirement for the CME component of the American Board of Anesthesiology’s (ABA) redesigned Maintenance of Certification in Anesthesiology™ (MOCA ®) program, known as MOCA 2.0.®
Patient safety credits are still being determined. Note that some sessions are concurrent.
