2025 Ironman World Championship Medical Symposium is organized by HealthCon Solutions (HCS), CMX Travel & Meetings and will be held from Oct 05 - 09, 2025 at OUTRIGGER Kona Resort & Spa, Kailua Kona, Hawaii, United States of America.
Description:
Now in it’s 35th year, The Ironman® World Championship Medical Symposium is a non-profit, accredited annual five-day Continuing Medical Education event for medical professionals with an interest in sports medicine and treating endurance athletes at all levels. The symposium is the only authorized Ironman®sanctioned sports medicine conference.
Course Objectives:
The purpose of this course is to present cutting-edge information in the areas of sports medicine, exercise science and common sports related injury and illness that family physicians can directly apply to the care of their active and athletic patients. At the conclusion of the course, participants will be invited to apply lessons learned to the care of athletes competing in the Ironman® World Championships as volunteers in the Ironman® Medical tent. They will be allowed to volunteer for 4 hours in the tent under the direct supervision of the Ironman® Symposium Faculty. This 4-hour “mini-internship” allows the participant to see hands on application of the material learned in the course.
