ACG’s Functional GI & Motility Disorders School is a day-long program to review current goals of therapy and management strategies for IBS, utilizing the ACG clinical guideline for the management of irritable bowel syndrome as a primary resource. As part of a comprehensive approach to determining and assessing ways to improve communication, diagnosis, and management of patients with ISB, CIC, and other functional GI diseases, the Functional GI and Motility Disorders School program will have a direct impact on clinicians.

The Midwest Regional Postgraduate Course will explore areas which gastroenterologist often face in clinical practice and address management updates in a variety of gastrointestinal and hepatic areas. During this course, multiple topics will be explored such as updates in MASLD diagnostics and therapeutics, differentiating food allergies from sensitivities, IBD in the geriatric population, plus full sessions focused on treating functional illness and on hepatology issues will be offered. Additionally, hear directly from the experts about polypectomy techniques, stone and stricture management, and dysplastic BE during the Best Techniques of 2025 session. The structure of the program includes a mix of didactic presentations delivered by expert faculty, case presentations, and significant Q&A opportunities.
