Saturday, September 13^th
Pre-meeting Workshop on Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning: Revolutionizing Clinical Pharmacology

• A full-day Workshop addressing the challenges and limitations associated with the use of AI/ML in clinical pharmacology, such as ethical, legal and social implications; data quality and availability; and algorithmic bias and transparency. The Workshop will provide a foundation for the understanding, application and future potential of AI/ML in clinical pharmacology as well as a forum to discuss the opportunities and challenges. Interactive and hands-on examples of the current use of AI/ML will be presented through real-world scenarios. In addition, a regulatory perspective will be presented to inform attendees of the appropriate use of AI/ML in new drug applications. The Workshop will conclude with a panel discussion of the current use, ethics, limitations and future potential of AI/ML in clinical pharmacology. implementation of PBPK modeling in drug development based on evolving standards and practices, and establish PBPK models using various software platforms, analyses of the impact of extrinsic factors on the PK properties of drug candidates using PBPK models and the efficient application of PBPK models for dosing recommendations in special populations.
• PharmaFete – Enjoy some music, appetizers and wine or beer while socializing with friends and colleagues, old and new, as we celebrate the opening of the meeting with the PharmaFete social on Saturday evening.
