2025 Airway Simulation is organized by Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences (OSU-CHS) and will be held on Jun 13, 2025 at Oklahoma State University Center for Health Sciences, Tulsa, Oklahoma, United States of America.

Description:
In this unique Airway Simulation training, attendees will begin by gaining foundational knowledge of evaluating an airway and progress to hands-on training utilizing rescue devices and techniques. This training will allow the attendee to be better equipped to manage patients with this critical need.

  • Hands-on training of pediatric airway and difficult airway situations
  • Learning the technique and troubleshooting for different video laryngoscope types
  • Individual hands-on training of emergency surgical airway using pig tracheas

Objectives:
At the conclusion of this activity, learners will be able to:

  • Apply the foundational knowledge of evaluating and managing an airway into their clinical practice.
  • Recognize difficult airway situations and confidently prepare for them.
  • Employ the use of rescue devices and techniques in order to manage the airway in pediatric and adult patients.
