The 19th Atlanta Lung Cancer Symposium (ALCS) is a pioneering educational program addressing current, practical strategies and state-of-the-art approaches for managing lung cancer, and offering updates on the latest clinical data.

This one-day meeting will cover the latest strategies  and advanced approaches for managing lung cancer, incorporating a multidisciplinary review of current  research and best practices in patient care. Clinicians  must continuously evaluate novel treatment options and  implement updated guidelines to ensure optimal outcomes.

ALCS provides a pioneering educational experience, equipping practitioners with the latest clinical trial data  and practice recommendations. Attendees will leave the program with new insights and tools to enhance their approach to diagnosis, treatment, and overall patient care.

Learning Objectives:

  • Optimize the selection of therapy for patients with lung cancer based on the results of molecular testing, disease-specific characteristics, and patient-related factors 
  • Integrate emerging clinical trial safety and efficacy results regarding the treatment of patients with lung cancer in order to have informed clinical decision making and personalize the care for each individual patient 
  • Evaluate approaches to mitigate treatment-related adverse events that may occur during the treatment of patients with lung cancer 
  • Develop strategies to enhance participation in clinical trials for both healthcare professionals and patients with lung cancer
