OVERVIEW

16th European Paediatric Neurology Society (EPNS) Congress is organized by European Paediatric Neurology Society (EPNS), Intercongress GmbH and will be held from Jul 08 - 12, 2025 at International Congress Center München, Munich, Bavaria, Germany.

Description:
Paediatric Neurology is a leading discipline. Combining the fascination for the child and the childs’ brain, it is located in the center of medicine, science and the understanding of human development. Paediatric Neurology is opening new horizons for acute and chronic health conditions. Leaps of innovation are taking place for methods, medications, interventions and brain research. Right now Paediatric Neurology transfers its’ visionary future to the children with neurological complexity.

For the 2025 EPNS Munich Congress we classify our field into A for acute, B for Brain, Health & Science and C for Chronic. We are building our own alphabet of research and care taking: dedicated to the children, equipped for the extending variety of neuropediatric diseases, stimulating and integrating science.

The Ludwig Maximilians University – LMU – Munich, Germany fits perfectly to our academic culture of excellence, interdisciplinarity and innovation.

In 2025, be part of this unique ABC format to learn, teach (and be taught), meet and exchange ideas on an international stage.

Learning Objectives:
EPNS’ core educational goal and purpose are that the significant burden of neurological diseases in childhood is addressed through research and education as these disorders have a lifelong impact on the individual, their careers and society as a whole.

Learning objectives include, amongst others:

  • Acquire knowledge about artificial intelligence in paediatric neurology as well as neurogenetics, -imaging and -modulation
  • Improve knowledge of paediatric stroke, traumatic brain injury, migraine and paediatric neurocritical care
  • Better understanding of neurodevelopment and neurorehabilitation
  • Improve knowledge of the structure of care for children with complex neurological problems

Highlight Topics:
Acute:

  • Paediatric Stroke
  • Status epilepticus, Status dystonicus
  • Traumatic brain injury
  • Migraine
  • Neonatal and paediatric neurocritical care

Brain:

  • Artificial intelligence
  • Neurogenetics
  • Neuroimaging
  • Neuromodulation

Chronic

  • Care structure for children with neurological complexity
  • Neurodevelopment
  • Neurorehabilitation

Reasons to attend:

  • Bring home the latest updates on developing technologies, clinical applications and practical solutions.
  • Educate yourself as you earn CME Credits to maintain or achieve certification.
  • Exchange ideas, share problems, discover solutions with international peers. You’ll create a network you can rely on long after the congress ends.
  • Recharge your batteries and return to your workplace brimming with innovative ideas and suggestions for improvements.
  • Discover innovative products, services and medications that might improve your patient‘s quality of life.

Expected Educational Outcome(s):
The EPNS Congress provides an opportunity to learn about the latest developments in the rapidly evolving field of child neurology, including basic science, diagnostic methods, and novel treatments.

Attendees will meet and communicate with colleagues, focused on delivering the best possible care for children with neurological disorders.

Attendees will collect the latest updates on developing technologies, clinical applications and practical solutions, swap ideas, share problems and discover solutions with international peers on state-of-the-art treatment options and evidence-based medicine during the plenary and parallel sessions (lectures) and teaching sessions (more practical).

The changing nature of paediatric neurology in the gene therapy era means child neurologists will be the clinicians who advise on and monitor these life-transforming therapies. Paediatric Neurology will evolve significantly as a discipline over the next decade and a goal of the EPNS Congress is to prepare delegates to classify the opportunities and challenges that come with this development.

The congress provides a platform to create a network, collect innovative ideas and suggestions for improvements.
