EFMC-YMCS 2025: 12th EFMC Young Medicinal Chemists' Symposium

EFMC-YMCS 2025: 12th European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology (EFMC) Young Medicinal Chemists' Symposium (YMCS) is organized by LD Organisation Srl, European Federation for Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology (EFMC) and will be held from Sep 04 - 05, 2025 at Medical Research Center of the Faculty of Medicine of the University of Porto (CIM-FMUP), Porto, Portugal.

This short symposium has the aim of:

• Creating a network of young European investigators
• Stimulating young European investigators to share their scientific work with peers and inspiring leaders in the field
• Creating competition and excellence within Europe by selecting the European Champion in Medicinal Chemistry and Chemical Biology

The Programme of the 12th EFMC Young Medicinal Chemists’ Symposium will include:

• Keynote lectures given by inspiring Early Career Researchers in the field
• “National Highlights” talks given by invited prize winners from national young medicinal chemist’s and chemical biologists’ meetings in Europe
• Oral communications & flash poster presentations selected from submitted abstracts
• A poster session open to any young researcher submitting an abstract
• A commercial exhibition
• Several prizes assigned at the end of the symposium

The scientific programme will also be completed by a series of soft-skill training activities provided to you by the EFMC Young Scientists Network.
