10th Biennial Congress of Asia Pacific Pediatric Cardiac Society (APPCS) is organized by Solvurs Event Management Company, Department of Pediatric Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery, The Children’s Hospital, University of Child Health Sciences (UCHS) and Pakistan Peadiatric Cardiac (PPC) Society and will be held from Apr 1 - 13, 2025 at Pearl Continental Hotel, Lahore, Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan.

Description:
The Asia Pacific Congress in 2025 aims to address the challenges faced in managing children, adolescents and adults with heart disease. The event will bring together clinicians, policy developers, managers, and pioneers to discuss clinical problems and collaborate with health systems to improve cardiac care for children. The Congress also aims to engage political leaders and emphasize the importance of providing medical advancements to children with heart disease. With the participation of renowned international faculty in pediatric congenital cardiology and cardiac surgery, the Congress is expected to offer anexceptional program.

The upcoming Congress will emphasize the solid scientific foundations established in previous Asia Pacific Congresses, with a range of special themes covering various aspects of cardiac care, including cardiac surgery (both congenital and valvular), interventional cardiac catheterization, imaging techniques such as Echo, CT, and MRI, arrhythmias, adult congenital heart disease, pulmonary hypertension, acquired heart disease, and preventive cardiology. There will be a special focus on Acute Rheumatic Fever (ARF) and Rheumatic Heart Disease (RHD) as they are significant health problems, particularly in low-income countries, where they remain a leading cause of morbidity and mortality among young people.

Bringing together an array of experts such as surgeons, anesthesiologists, intensivists, nurses, geneticists, molecular scientists, interventionists, and pediatric and adult cardiologists, this Congress represents a major international scientific event for the community, providing an opportunity to review and highlight recent research achievements and technological advancements. Additionally, it has an important public policy objective, seeking to remind our constituencies that children with heart disease should have access to modern medical science. Our vision is to utilize the Congress as a platform to extend cardiac care to underprivileged children particularly in the Asia Pacific region.
