The First Irish Trauma Care Conference is organized by Trauma Care Charity and will be held from Sep 06 - 07, 2024 at Titanic Belfast, Belfast City, North Ireland, United Kingdom.

For the first time, renowned UK charity Trauma Care is heading to Ireland.

Over the course of two days, we will be joined by experts in traumatology to deliver over 40 talks. Each talk is dedicated to a unique aspect of trauma care for the patient, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

From trauma education to remote and rural care, paediatric care, nursing, and a host of other crucial topics, this course will equip you with the knowledge needed to treat any patient, in any situation and inform you of future plans for the UK & Ireland.

The programme has been designed by Dr Nigel Ruddell (Medical Director for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service) and Dr Duncan Redmill (Clinical Lead for Northern Ireland Major Trauma Network) and features speakers such as:

• Professor Sir Michael McBride (CMO for NI),
• Professor Conor Deasy (Clinical Director of EM at Cork University Hospital),
• Professor Tim Hodgetts (former Surgeon General of the United Kingdom Armed Forces),
• Dr Emer Ahern (President of the Irish Gerontological Society),
• Catherine Patterson (Course Director for the European Trauma Course & Clinical Lead for Trauma Team Training at the Belfast Trust).
