- Describe the nature of One Health: human, animal, plants and the shared environment impact of zoonosis on healthcare
- Discuss the underlying causes of human disease, inflammation, cancer, and the interaction of the oral microbiome.
- Apply the concepts of how interprofessional patient care in dental and physical medicine is integrated in sleep medicine, cardiac care, cancer, diabetes management, etc.
- Discuss the oral- systemic consequences of diet, polypharmacy, oral manifestations of systemic disease, and xerostomia

The College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC) has a reciprocal credit reporting agreement with the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP).
