The 2024 Foot & Ankle Renaissance is organized by Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine (KSUCPM) and will be held from May 23 - 25, 2024 at Kent State University, Florence, Firenze, Italy.
Goals & Objectives:
Following the conclusion of this seminar, the participant will be able to:
• Discuss common imaging methods to evaluate Injuries associated with sports activities.
• Understand the biomechanics and rehabilitation of common sports injuries.
• Discuss the surgical management of sports and other traumatic foot and ankle injuries, including evolving minimally invasive techniques.
• Appraise the status of total ankle joint arthroplasty.
• Discuss advances and options in first Metatarsal surgery, including minimal incision techniques.
• Evaluate the strategies of a multidisciplinary team approach to comprehensive management of patients with diabetic foot complications.
