Texas Geriatrics Society (TGS) / Texas Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (TMDA) Geriatrics Annual Conference 2024 is organized by Texas Geriatrics Society (TGS) and will be held from Aug 09 - 11, 2024 at Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center, Grapevine, Texas, United States of America.

Conference Objectives:

• Learn how to  incorporate an understanding of the changing physiology associated with aging, and the impact on the management of insomnia, anemia, osteoporosis, light chain gammopathies seen in aging, and topical therapies in wound care.
• Gain knowledge and skills in caring for patients with multimorbidity and limited prognosis and be able to provide evidence based and team-based care.
• Discover how wellbeing is increasingly recognized as an essential component of health both for patients and for health care professionals and learn ways to achieve wellbeing to prevent burnout. 
• Get up to date information about evolving medical-legal and health care models of care, including advance care planning, homebased primary care, trafficking of older adults, and being an effective expert witness.
