Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons (SOMOS) 66th Annual Meeting is organized by Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons (SOMOS) and will be held from Dec 09 - 13, 2024 at Loews Nashville Hotel at Vanderbilt Plaza, Tennessee, United States of America.
Purpose:
• Provide a forum for the dissemination of military-specific orthopaedic knowledge relevant to military surgeons and servicemembers.
• Provide attendees with the latest surgical, clinical, and research advances in each orthopaedic sub-specialty area.
Objectives:
Educational objectives will be met through a combination of paper presentations, lectures and symposia in plenary and specialty sessions including open discussion with the lecturers and paper presenters. Following participation in the Scientific Program, attendees should be able to:
• Critically evaluate orthopaedic diseases and treatments through evidenced based outcome presentations.
• Discuss basic science and clinical research and its implications for diagnosis and treatment of orthopaedic diseases.
• Enhance and maximize clinical and operative skills by integrating new information into their practice.
These educational objectives will be obtained through paper presentations, instructional courses, guest lectureships, symposia, multimedia educational sessions and poster sessions.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the Society of Military Orthopaedic Surgeons.
