The North American Congress of Clinical Toxicology (NACCT) is the largest clinical toxicology meeting in the world. This event provides ongoing education for more than 700 of the world's leading clinicians, scientists, poison center staff, and executives. Attendees include clinicians and research scientists from poison centers, industry, academia, and regulatory agencies.

Learning Objectives:
• Discuss the therapeutic application of psychedelics, potential toxicity associated with their use and overdose, current governmental regulations, and the role of medical toxicology in the states where psychedelics have become legalized.
• Highlight the role of a multi-center regional poison control center in the response to the Norfolk Southern freight train derailment that resulted in a significant toxicological public health emergency.
• Introduce attendees to innovative teaching strategies including hands-on simulation, and audience response systems to engage learners being introduced to toxicology.
