This international symposium provides endovascular specialists with the latest information on the fast-changing treatment of endovascular disease. Didactic lectures from world-renowned cardiovascular interventionalists will teach attendees about cardiovascular imaging techniques and how cardiovascular care has transformed in the telemedicine era. The symposium also features an intensive hands-on workshop where attendees practice various interventional techniques. The course features tracks for novice, intermediate, and advanced cardiovascular interventionalists.
Program Overview:
The conference will offer didactic lectures from world-renowned cardiovascular interventionalists. It will also feature an intensive hands-on workshop designed to teach cardiovascular interventionalists a variety of techniques.
We will offer three tracks; one track for the novice (or young surgeon), an intermediate track and an advanced track, so you can hone your skills at an individualized level.
Learning Objectives:
• Learners will acquire new knowledge regarding cardiac valve pathology and new technologies and bring this knowledge back to their hospitals for improvement quality of care locally.
• Attendees will learn the latest treatment modalities and recommendations for patients with carotid artery disease and be able to implement them in their own practice.
• Learners will be enlightened with these new techniques and will be able to implement them in their current practice.
• Attendees will develop a balanced approach to treating patients with peripheral vascular disease (PVD) and will be able to use in their current practice.
• Participants will acquire this new knowledge of cutting-edge techniques of vascular bypass for implementation in their current practice.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of The Texas Heart Institute and Houston Methodist. The Texas Heart Institute is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
