Intensive Trauma Hands-on Course 2024

Intensive Trauma Hands-on Course 2024 is organized by Sharjah Surgical Institute (SSI) and will be held from May 10 - 11, 2024 at Medical and Health Sciences Colleges University of Sharjah, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

Course Objectives:
• The concept of patient's triage.
• To understand the stages of Trauma Assessment & Management (Resuscitation) including the Primary Survey & Secondary Survey, Re-Assessment & Re-Evaluation & Definitive Care. Assessment & Managment of Trauma Patients should be according to Priorities & in a timely manner.
• To understand the objectives of Primary Survey & Secondary Survey

Course Goal:
• Assessment & Resuscitation:
• Rapid & Accurate Patients Assessment.
• Simultaneous Resuscitation & Stabilization of Trauma Patients
• These (A & B) are done according to Priorities.
• To understand the need for patient transfer to another Facility:
• To Ensure that Optimal Care is provided continuously: by proper re-evaluation & re-assessment.
