Description:
This course focuses on navigating current challenges in genitourinary pathology, which range from navigating conflicting subspecialty guidelines to implementing a new WHO Classification. Focused sessions in key areas in subspecialty genitourinary practice will also underscore the growing role of the pathologist in directly informing management decisions made by interdisciplinary teams.

Course Topics:
• Prostate histopathology: nuanced grading and reporting controversies
• Renal tumor classification: what really matters in a milieu of numerous entities and “proto”-entities
• Urothelial neoplasia: challenges with low-grade and high-grade flat lesions and simulants
• Testicular germ cell tumors: getting to benign or malignant, and from malignant to treatment categories
