Fast-Track Cities Theme: “Equity in Action”

Description:
The conference theme aims to underscore the catalytic impact achieved across the Fast-Track Cities network over the past decade in accelerating urban HIV, tuberculosis (TB), and viral hepatitis responses. The theme also emphasizes the imperative to sustain momentum generated for and re-double the political and societal commitment necessary to achieve all health-related Sustainable Development Goals (SGDS) by 2030.

The conference aims to share best practices in accelerating urban health responses, and explore opportunities to leverage the network to support integrated health responses. The conference is organized by the International Association of Providers of AIDS Care (IAPAC), in collaboration with the Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), and the Fast-Track Cities Institute, Stop TB Partnership, and Coalition for Global Hepatitis Elimination.

Program:
In addition to two high-level panels, the Fast-Track Cities 2024 conference program includes plenary sessions, panel discussions, and oral and e-poster abstract sessions. In addition, the conference will provide a space for collaborative development of innovative approaches to achieve optimal health outcomes in urban settings through thematic skills-building workshops and affiliated satellite symposia.
