Description:
The dermatology department and residency is hosting a 1-day conference aimed at covering dermatology topics pertinent to primary care physicians. Topics covered include those diagnoses or differentials frequently encountered by primary care, therapeutic regimens and newer medications to know about within the realm of dermatology, "hot topics" in the area of dermatology and faculty panels to address questions/cases.
Learning Objectives:
Following this learning activity, participants will be able to:
- Identify common dermatologic conditions and differentials
- Apply strategies to conduct a basic therapeutic regimen for common skin conditions
- Discuss when to refer a patient to dermatology
