Cardiovascular Research Technologies (CRT) 2024 is organized by Cardiovascular Research Technologies (CRT) Group Foundation and will be held from Mar 09 - 12, 2024 at Washington Hilton, Washington, Dist of Col, United States of America.

Description:
Cardiovascular Research Technologies (CRT) is a leading educational forum on new cardiovascular technology and procedures for physicians and health-care professionals. CRT provides a forum for exemplary education for interventional cardiologists, general cardiologists, cardiothoracic and vascular surgeons, catheterization laboratory managers, nurses and technologists, scientists and those with an interest in cardiovascular medicine.

The annual CRTmeeting features focused educational and training sessions that discuss new trial data, explore evidence-based research and demonstrate the most up-to-date techniques that can be directly applied to clinical and academic practices. It consists of concurrent meetings in six main areas of interest— Coronary, Valve and Structural, Endovascular, Technology and Innovation, Atherosclerosis and Research, and Nurses and Technologists. CRT attendees have the opportunity to share ideas and knowledge, collaborate on interventional cardiology solutions, receive interventional cardiology training, and network with other professionals.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
Integrate advances in diagnostic evaluation and therapeutics to treat patients with carotid and peripheral arterial disease
• Employ new interventional technologies, medical therapies and procedures into the care of patients with complex coronary and endovascular disease
• Review recent advances in the medical and mechanical management of heart failure patients across the progression of symptoms and stages
• Discuss which stroke patients are candidates for thrombolytic therapy, and identify those who should receive endovascular thrombectomy
• Appraise percutaneous devices from concept through preclinical and clinical investigation. regulatory approval and clinical application for the treatment of structural heart and valve disease
• Interpret advanced techniques and recent data on the use of renal denervation for the treatment of hypertension
• Outline clinical and social determinants that contribute to racial/gender disparities in cardiovascular disease and employ strategies to factor these inequalities into care and clinical trial recruitment

The Academy for Continued Healthcare Learning is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Credit Designation*  
The Academy for Continued Healthcare Learning designates this live activity for a maximum of 35.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Maintenance of Certification for Physician*
Successful completion of this CME activity enables the participant to earn up to 35.00 MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC points.

ACHL will begin submitting MOC points starting April 1, 2024, and the 1st of the month after that through December 31. MOC points MUST be claimed by December 31, 2024. By providing your ABIM number, you consent to have ACHL and/or our educational partners submit your participation in this activity to the ABIM through the ACCME PARS system.

Nurse practitioners and registered nurses may participate in this educational activity and earn a certificate of participation, as AANP and ANCC accepts AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ through its reciprocity agreements.
