BHRS Scientific Sessions 2024 is organized by Millbrook Medical Conferences Ltd and will be held from Feb 27 - 29, 2024 at The Midland Hotel Manchester, Manchester, England, United Kingdom.

Overview:
The inaugural British Heart Rhythm Sessions will provide essential education and updates to all arrhythmia professionals and trainees.

Content focussed on EP ablation, devices, ICC, ACHD and research will be held alongside special sessions for fellows, investigators, cardiac physiologists, nurses and BHRS exam candidates. 

Bursaries are available for registration, and/or travel and accommodation for those unable to get funding.

EP Traces Day
Sunday 25 February 2024
Clinical Programme Lead Dr Simon Modi welcomes SpRs and physiologists, as well as consultants wanting to ‘brush up’, to join his team in an interactive day exploring EP traces. The day is free to attend and ideal for those who have spent some time in the EP lab (you don't need to be an expert!) and want to hone their EP diagnostic skills and gain a better understand of EP. Everyone attending will be encouraged to step out of their comfort zone and stand up and describe what is going on in the traces, all done in an open and friendly atmosphere of course!

We aim for all to leave feeling more confident about EP! There are a limited number of spaces available for this course.

Hands-On Simulator Training Day
Monday 26 February 2024
Get set for an intensive day of hands-on training in a range of device and EP skills. Suitable for core and arrhythmia sub-specialty cardiology trainees and Healthcare Scientists seeking hands-on introductory and refresher experience.

There are over 25 training stations available from a range of companies. Each station will train a small number of people allowing for focused training and a true hands-on experience. All attendees will get the choice to fully personalise the day by choosing which training stations to attend, so you only get trained in the areas relevant to you!

Arrhythmia Nurses Day

Topics will include: AF surgical pre-admission pathway, NOAH study outcomes, Noval antiarrhythmic drugs treatments, AF commissioning, PROMS in AF, Autonomic dysfunction, Dronedarone - safety, efficacy an d real world data, BHRS accreditation for nurses - Q & A and ECG workshop - cases and traces.
