Asia Pacific Intensive Care Symposium (APICS) 2024 is organized by Australian and New Zealand Intensive Care Society (ANZICS), Society of Intensive Care Medicine (SICM) and will be held from Aug 17 - 19, 2024 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, Singapore.

Description:
Emerging well from the covid-19 pandemic, we introduced the inaugural APICS Asia Pacific Societies Summit, APICS Abstracts Spotlight and distributed 26 travel awards to delegates in LMIC countries. This was made possible by generous contributions from some of our speakers. We had 15 Asia Pacific Critical Care Societies Leads and Representatives to discuss the challenges and opportunities for collaboration within the region. We also saw the first-ever APICS Simulation Challenge for an immersive and experiential learning experience.

Our theme for 2024 is “Best Care Beyond Borders” where we focus on harnessing the latest scientific developments to benefit critical ill patients at an individual level in different ICUs and countries. One size does not fit all, so our approaches need to be adaptable and catered to every unit and country’s resources. We look forward to continued collaborations within the region and are ever committed to improve accessibility of critical care knowledge to benefit all.
