We are very grateful to Southeast Europe Neurosurgical Society that they supported the joint organization of the Congress and we are very glad to provide this meeting in Budapest, at our famous historical city. It is a great pleasure and honor for us to welcome our friends from SeENS.

As a result of the scientific and technological development of the past decades, neurosurgery continues its surgical, scientific and educational activities in close cooperation with other disciplines. We want to emphasize the Congress in the context of the interdisciplinary nature of our work.

All we know, that the topic of „Developments and new technologies in Neurosurgery" at our conference is very actual not only from the science point of view, but for its practical and clinical impact as well.

I hope, that our event will open again a fruitful forum for presentations and the latest results in the field of neurosurgery. In these few days we can overview many aspects and results of scientific research and clinical practice.
