26th Annual Meeting of the Swiss Stroke Society, 13th Swiss Stroke Trialists Meeting and 6th Interprofessional Stroke Symposium for Nursing and Therapy is organized by the Swiss Stroke Society (SHG-SCS-SSS) and will be held from Jan 25 - 26, 2024 at, Lucerne, Switzerland.

Description:
The Swiss Stroke Society Meeting 2024 will give an update on secondary prevention in atherosclerosis and also focus on new scientific developments (and also some controversies) in acute treatment of stroke patients. To round the meeting off, we plan a neurorehabilitation session, discussing the prognosis of young stroke patients and a case-based interprofessional discussion about difficult ethical situations in stroke care.

The satellite symposium about the treatment of diabetes and noac-associated intracerebral haemorrhages will further enrich the programme.

The Interprofessional Stroke Symposium for Nursing and Therapy comes up with a truly multi-professional approach with a special emphasis on rehabilitation, which should appeal to this broad audience involved in the treatment of stroke patients.
