Emphasis on positive treatment outcomes for implant-based care is at the forefront of today’s implant practice. Predictable esthetic and functional success for our implant patients relies on many factors, including comprehensive assessment and planning, the quality of the implant site and tissue response and selection, and proper use of appropriate implants, components, and materials. This recurring success often requires clinicians to have clear lines of communication and common treatment philosophies.

With the maturation of the field of implant dentistry regarding technology, manufacturing, and materials, we have realized and improved treatment efficiency in addition to both esthetic and functional predictability. Streamlining patient care to minimize surgical insult and improve restorative longevity has become the vanguard of clinical demands and continuing education.

This presentation will focus on a sound treatment philosophy incorporating the latest technology and digital options. Patient presentations highlighting step-wise planning and treatment will concentrate on clinical situations ranging from single-tooth replacement to edentulous arches, focusing on immediate implants and esthetic outcomes

 • Detail pretreatment analysis and identify important treatment parameters
 • Identify advanced and complex patients and discuss why treatment is considered difficult and why esthetic outcomes may be compromised
 • Become familiar with the technology and steps in the fully digital workflow
 • Discuss implant and restorative component options and choices for these patients
 •  Discuss and describe currently available clinical methods for treating a range of patients
