Description:
Intra-operative neuro-monitoring is a valuable tool for achieving the goal of maximal safe resection in eloquent brain tumours. Additionally understanding the basics of neuro physiology and conduct of intraoperative neuromonitoring are essential for performing safe surgeries. This course delves into practical aspects of neuro and electrophysiology in intraoperative neuromonitoring and application of different domains of intra operative neuro-monitoring in various brain tumours.

This workshop is aimed at all neurosurgeons, neuro-anaesthetists and neurophysiologist/ technologist who are using/are involved and those looking forward to use intraoperative neuro-monitoring.

The course will comprise of:

• 3D white matter tract anatomy
• IONM in supratentorial, infratentorial, and spinal tumors.
• Special considerations in Pediatric cases
• Awake surgeries and intraoperative mapping
• Neuroosychological evaluation
• Didactic lectures and case based discussions.
