16th European Multidisciplinary Congress On Urological Cancers (EMUC24)

CME Accreditation
The ‘European Multidisciplinary Congress on Urological Cancers (EMUC24)’ is accredited by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) to provide the following CME activity for medical specialists. The EACCME is an institution of the European Union of Medical Specialists (UEMS).

The ‘European Multidisciplinary Congress on Urological Cancers (EMUC24)’ is designated for a maximum (or ‘for up to’) 22.5 of European external CME credits. Each medical specialist should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.

Through an agreement between the European Union of Medical Specialists and the American Medical Association, physicians may convert EACCME credits to an equivalent number of AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Information on the process to convert EACCME credit to AMA credit.

Live educational activities, occurring outside of Canada, recognized by the UEMS-EACCME for ECMEC credits are deemed to be Accredited Group Learning Activities (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

Viewing EMUC24 webcasts will also earn you CME accreditation. Webcasts are accredited up to 24 hours after the last session, so until Monday 11 November 2024, 13:00 hrs CET.

EACCME credits
Each participant can only receive the number of credits he/she is entitled to according to his/her actual participation at the event once he/she has completed the feedback form. Cf. criteria 9 and 23 of UEMS 2016.20.

The EACCME® awards ECMEC®s on the basis of 1 ECMEC® for one hour of CME with a maximum of 8 ECMEC®s per day. Cf. Chapter X of UEMS 2016.20.

ESMO-MORA
The Congress programme is accredited with [number of points have been requested] ESMO-MORA category 1 points. Recertification is necessary for medical oncologists to remain professionally certified by ESMO. Recertification guarantees that a certified medical oncologist has continued to update her/ his knowledge and continues to possess the necessary skills and standards for the practice of medical oncology.
