11th Annual Living Donor Transplant Symposium is organized by Foundation for Advanced Cardiovascular Education and Training (FACET) and will be held on Oct 18, 2024 at Baylor University Medical Center, Dallas, Texas, United States of America.

Description:
Living donor transplantation is a key part of restoring health in patients with severe kidney or liver disease or end-stage organ failure. Living uterus donation is utilized for women with absolute uterine factor infertility who undergo transplant to have a baby. Nurses, clinicians, clergy and social workers play a pivotal role in communicating the option of living organ donation to patients, families, friends and other potential living donors. This symposium will enhance knowledge of the clinical, financial, psychosocial, advocacy, ethical and regulatory issues to living donation.
