XIV State Congress of Social Work and Health is organized by GEYSECO.es, Spanish Association of Social Work and Health / Asociación Española de Trabajo Social y Salud (AETSYS) and will be held from May 11 - 13, 2023 at Rectorado - UDC, A Coruna, Galicia, Spain.

Motto: "Social Health Work: Innovating and expanding the capacities of the health system"

The Spanish Association of Social Work and Health organizes its XIV STATE COUNCIL OF SOCIAL WORK & HEALTH.
As an invited entity, our collaborators are the University of A Coruna (UDC) and the Professional Association of Social Services of Portugal(APPS). This gives rise to the I IBERIAN MEETING OF SANITARY SOLICIAL WORK.
It is a scientific call, as we have done in previous editions over the 36 years of our journey. It allows for space for reflection and discussion from the profession of Health Social Work and, for the first time, includes the voices of the Hispanic Territory -Portuguese. This calls for reflection and debate within the Sustainable Development Goal of Health and Well-being.

Revising and strengthening the profession in this context is imperative to adapt it to new social realities. This includes taking into consideration the gender perspective in a transversal manner to contribute more efficient and inclusive healthcare services that are aligned with the SDGs. Peace, justice, and solid institutions of the 2030 Agenda and with the Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience plan axes of Spain and the European Union.

This year's slogan, "Social Health Work," is developed through four thematic axes: Ecology, Community, and New Social Gaps; Innovation and Leadership in Management; Ecology, Community, and New Social Gaps; Autonomy and Rights In Health and Humanization. We want to share the contents of the framework conferences, the discussion tables, and the communications exhibition.
