The vascular Ultrasound Imaging Course is organized by Wessex Diagnostic (WD) and will be held from Apr 18 - 19, 2023, in Birmingham, England, United Kingdom.

Overview:

This is an intensive two-day course on the application of duplex, pulsed wave, color, and power Doppler techniques in investigating the abdominal, extracranial, intracranial, and peripheral vasculatures by using ultrasound imaging techniques.

The program includes a combination of lectures, demonstrations, and workshops covering the basic principles of these techniques and a review of the current state of ultrasound arteriography and venography to provide a comprehensive overview of these techniques.

Structure:

Practical, hands-on workshops supplement theoretical discussions that our most experienced instructors lead. For training purposes in the ultrasound monitoring of endovenous laser ablation treatments, various models and ultrasound equipment, as well as the option to practice on a limb phantom, are available.

Haemodynamics and Doppler Ultrasound, Lower limb arteries, Investigation carotid and vertebral arteries, Superficial venous system, Intracranial vasculature, Lower Limb Deep venous system, Upper limb vasculature, Ultrasound imaging in surgery, Aorta and branches, Stent and graft surveillance, Ultrasound monitoring of hemodialysis, Artefacts and errors.
