Description 
Pleural disease is common and frequently difficult to manage well.  This course is aimed at practising clinicians.  Consultants will find it especially useful.  Trainees and nurse specialists with an interest in pleural disease will find that this course provides in depth examination of all aspects of pleural disease.

The international faculty will bring together the most recent research with the experience of practising clinicians from around the world to bear on this rapidly evolving area of respiratory medicine. It will explore common problems encountered in treating pleural disease.

The sessions are designed to be interactive and maximise the opportunity for group discussion informed by the latest research and ideas about pleural disease.

The course programme covers pleural disease from basic diagnostic methods to controversies in management of infection, malignancy and pneumothorax.

This is a residential 2 day course. Accommodation and dinner (at the Belfry Hotel) are provided on Wednesday and Thursday night as part of the course fee for residential options.  It’s strongly encouraged that all delegates come to stay for both days to enhance the experience for all on the course.
