Tripartite Medical Education Conference 2023 is organized by the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine (HKAM) and will be held from Jan 14 - 15, 2023 at the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine Jockey Club Building, Hong Kong.

Theme: “Actualising the Curriculum Continuum”.

Description:
Since 2013, the Academy has been in charge of organizing an annual educational event. This is part of the statutory duty required to play to ensure that Hong Kong's medical and dental specialty training continues to meet high standards. In 2023, the Academy will be celebrating its 30th anniversary. In that year, it will collaborate with the other two medical faculties in the area to host the first ever "Tripartite Medical Education Conference" on the topic of "Actualising the Curriculum Continuum." Along the continuum of their professional journey, from when they are medical students until they become specialists, the conference's topic will assist in encouraging the exchange, coordination, and planning of education and training of tomorrow's doctors. The conference provides unique opportunities for information exchange and networking through plenary sessions, symposia, and hands-on workshops given by prominent industry professionals centered on the conference's central topic. There will also be some interactive discussion sessions, such as a roundtable titled "Ten Years Down the Line," a debate session focusing on internship training for medical graduates, and a symposium exploring the prevalent well-being issues faced by the medical profession. These sessions will all be included in the conference.

At the conference, medical professionals from all over the world, including those from the Academy, the two local medical universities, and the Hospital Authority, will come together to share their knowledge and experience. During the symposium, the Academy's Young Fellows Chapter participants will also discuss their experiences as young doctors and offer their insights.
