Goals and Objectives:
After participating in this activity, the attendee will be able to:

• Develop hands-on experience with point-of-care ultrasound and common peripheral nerve blocks.
• Compare the benefits of various regional anesthetic techniques in the perioperative period.
• Explain the role of the anesthesiologist in perioperative palliative care discussions and develop a framework for conducting these discussions.
• Discuss current challenges with anesthesiologist recruitment, retention, engagement, and burnout in a post-COVID world.
• Analyze recent changes to perioperative fasting considerations with regard to the pediatric population, GLP-1 analogs, and gastric ultrasound.
