The Brain Conference: Establishment and Maintenance of Brain Cell States are organized by the Federation of European Neuroscience Societies (FENS) and will be held from Apr 23 - 26, 2023 at Rungstedgaard, Rungsted, Copenhagen (Hovedstaden), Denmark.
Description:
The brain is made up of various types of cells, mostly neurons, and glia, and their structures and interactions affect the nervous system's functioning. On a molecular level, every cell is identified as it develops by the detailed description of the genetic expression profiles. Furthermore, it is important to have mechanisms to stabilize the different states of cells once they are established, often over several years. The failure of these processes leads to neurological diseases that can be attributed to ageing and diseases.
The conference will present the most recent research on epigenetic and genetic mechanisms that are which are responsible for maintaining and creating the health of the brain.
Additional details will be posted as soon as information is available.
