Course Description:
The course features an excellently well-balanced combination of theoretical study and hands-on application. The content of the ship's medical course is similar to a common thread that goes across the entire program. Every lecture will focus on the tasks that must be completed daily by the ship's doctor and the most critical aspects of marine medicine. Some highlights include hands-on training in dentistry and internal sonography while at sea. DTG's Refresher Course on Travel Medicine: The basic training must be completed in the past, but the ship's doctor course does not need that you have any prior experience.
