Pediatric Diabetology 2023 is organized by Czech Diabetological Society Section for pediatric diabetology CDS CLS JEP / Ceska diabetologicka spolecnost Sekce pro detskou diabetologii CDS CLS JEP, Academic and Medical Conference Agency (AMCA) and will be held from Mar 24 - 25, 2023 at Hotel Duo, Prague, Prague, Czech Republic.

A discussion on which direction to go with us is therefore very necessary. A consensus needs to be found that would rationally, yet based on evidence, provide this modern care for the risk segment of asymptomatic children in the dysglycemic phase with the aim of prolonging the insulin-free period and preventing diabetic ketoacidosis.
Let's not forget the ongoing technological revolution, which gives children with diabetes an increasingly realistic possibility of achieving normoglycemia without having to try too hard. Experience with current hybrid closed circuit systems will certainly be useful to share. We would also like to include a psychological block because diabetology is not a field about one biochemical quantity, but about caring for the whole person, in the case of children, about accompanying them through the complex period of childhood and adolescence. There will certainly be time left for our own projects and case studies, which are the traditional spice of our meeting.
