Pacific Northwest Endovascular Conference (PNEC) 2023 is organized by Behind The Scenes and will be held from May 25 - 26, 2023 at Hyatt Regency Seattle, Seattle, Washington, United States of America.

Learning Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, the learner should be able to:

1. Identify appropriate treatment methods for endoleaks
2. Recognize the different imaging modalities to assist in the treatment of aortic pathology
3. Determine which endovascular procedures are a durable solution for the lower extremity
4. Analyze strategies to treat patients with chronic limb threatening ischemia (CLTI)
5. Assess different strategies to treat lower extremity arterial ischemia
6. Assess strategies to treat superficial venous disease
7. Identify strategies to treat chronic venous obstruction
8. Analyze the impact of medical therapy on peripheral arterial disease
9. Describe methods of anterior spine exposure
10. Identify strategies to treat carotid disease and when to employ CEA vs TCAR

PNEC Simulation Summit for Vascular Trainees: This Summit will be held on Thursday, May 25, 2023, the day prior to PNEC.

Program Goals:

• Enable the cardiovascular trainees (vascular fellow, CT fellow, PGY-5 integrated vascular residents) a forum to learn advanced endovascular techniques for the management of PAD, aortic dissection, traumatic aortic transection and ruptured AAA (rAAA) from world-class experts in the field.
• Allow the cardiovascular trainees the opportunity to attend PNEC, the premier endovascular meeting in the Pacific Northwest.
• Allow opportunity to have focused training in the use of endovascular techniques for the management of PAD, aortic dissection, traumatic aortic transection and rAAA using the most advanced endovascular simulators available.

Program Objectives:
Upon completion of this activity, the learner should be able to:

1. Identify the indications for intervention in both acute and chronic type B aortic dissection.
2. Use thoracic endovascular grafts to manage and treat both acute and chronic type B dissection.
3. Plan and use thoracic endografts to manage blunt thoracic aortic transection.
4. Use abdominal endovascular grafts for the management of ruptured AAA.
5. Use intravascular ultrasound (IVUS) to manage aortic dissection and traumatic aortic transection.
6. Understand both open and endovascular treatment options for the management of peripheral arterial disease (PAD) and critical limb ischemia (CLI) in the femoropopliteal segment.
7. Describe techniques for treatment of CTO lesions including the use of atherectomy, laser, and re-entry devices.
8. Describe current data regarding the use of drug-coated balloon (DCB).
9. Identify and describe imaging modalities used in the management of CLI.
